Well it is almost the end of January and I am half way through my fabric diet. I haven’t bought a single piece of fabric, wool or even thread and the cravings are wearing off. I’m looking forward to March 1st though!

I lent my sister a book on quilt design and she produced this 3D mini quilt. I think it is beautiful – what do you think?
Kate has been making a couple of baby quilts for friends and practising her machine quilting at the same time. Isn’t it great!
There is a new fabric range out called Sherbet Pips and I have been coveting it since before Christmas. It is designed by a lady called Aneela Hoey and she has used it in this quilt.
I just love it though it is very different to the sort of quilt I usually make it would be lovely for a little girl. It’s just going to have to wait until March. She has a website here
