I wonder how many of you have seen the online TV programme called JustHands-on-TV.  It is all about patchwork and quilting and though much of it is available only if you subscribe, some of it is free.  I have subscribed for 3 months, I think you can pay monthly and cancel when you wish.

There are lots of videos to watch ranging from basic techniques to quilt designs including bagmaking and interviews with well known quiltmakers like Susan Briscoe and Leslie Brankin. The link below takes you to a very useful tip on how to avoid your needle untreading and the machine chewing up your fabric.  It is a free link but you do have to register when you try to use the link.  Plenty of things are available for free so it is worth a little time to register.

They also have a blog

Have a look and see what you think  They will be visiting the Malvern show and doing interviews with quilt makers and traders over the next 3 days.  These will be on the site soon so if you aren’t able to make it, you can make a virtual visit!
