I’ve enjoyed a fantastic visit to the Festival of Quilts with my sister and there were no cross words despite us being together 24 hours a day for 4 days!
I have quilt images and ideas whizzing round my brain and I can’t wait to get going on some of them. Looking at the photos I took, I now know that I am always attracted to contemporary, sometimes abstract and often geometric quilts. And as in other years, I most enjoyed some of the special exhibitions by professional quilters. It looks as though I like green, grey and more green with a hint of pink!
